For the love of outdoors!

This is a photo I saved from an Australian Vogue Living magazine and have had this magazine for years and I still love to read it. So many timeless styles are featured in this issue.

Acknowledging the very sweet A-M

We would like to formally thank A-M for her lovely endorsement of our blog earlier in the week. We have had so many people stop by and leave beautiful encouraging comments since her post - thanks A-M.

Home Beautiful Magazine Feature

Australian Home Beautiful magazine did a feature on my home back in October '06

It was very exciting to see it come out on the news stands and certainly a boost in my career for Interior Styling. Thanks Home Beautiful!

A few things have changed in the last couple of years. I will post some new photos in the near future. The paint on my loungeroom walls are Porters Duchess Satin in Oyster. I still love the colour. It reflects alot of light into a room with no windows. My kitchen doesn't usually look this uncluttered.

This is my beautiful princess sitting on my antique Italian Rococco sofa which I bought from a lovely couple who own a series of shops around Australia and UK called French & English, formerly known as The French House.

These are my 3 kids rooms which no longer look like this. I get bored very quickly (chronic stylist syndrome).

Beautiful homes for sale in Melbourne, Victoria

I spent some time last night looking at some houses for sale in my favourite Melbourne suburbs on realesatate.com.au and I thought I would share them with you. Hope you enjoy them too!

This is so stunning! A mansion in beautiful Brighton

This home is in Toorak. I just love Toorak, just driving through the suburb enriches your life....It's great to dream!

A beautiful entrance with the solid black gloss door and warm painted tones on the walls

I would love to live here. This is exactly what my back yard will look like one day

This looks like a Paul Bengay design.

I just adore these french parquetry floors.

Irish Real Estate

A friend from Ireland recently sent me a link to the largest Irish real estate website Daft (great name). I had a great time looking through houses in the centre of Dublin as well as some stunning mansions in the countryside - another pleasant way to waste a bit of time. The homes are so different to what is on offer in Australia.

I just loved this house in the country:

The following gorgeous images were from a different house that didn't have the same street appeal as the above house. It was styled in a way that you would imagine having if you lived in Ireland but could just as easily be in an old Queenslander:

These gorgeous dining chairs look like the ones from Coco Republic.

Love the slip cover chairs.

What a gorgeous study nook.

Sweet and simple bedroom.
